Selling your property - the sequence of events
- Instruct us by phone to proceed.
- We will order your home information pack.
- We will forward draft colour illustrated sales brochures for approval under the Property Misdescriptions Acts together with our terms of engagement under the Estate Agents Act.
- Following return of the paperwork your property is immediately on the market. We will place advertising, order the particulars from the printers, place a For Sale board in front of the property, display the property in our office, dispatch details from our mailing list and e-mail the particulars to our web-site provider.
- Contact you by phone with all viewing appointments and subsequently inform you by phone of any feedback from viewings.
- Immediately inform you of any offers and discuss their merits.
- Discuss with you any adjustments needed to the marketing strategy if necessary
- Confirm the sale by writing to the seller, buyer and their respective solicitors.
- Liaise with purchasers, valuers / surveyors and arrange appointment for the inspection.
- Liaise with solicitors to maintain the progress of the sale, and regularly up-date you.
- We will help to sort out any potential problems thrown up by either the survey or the legal side.
- Vendors and purchasers will be contacted at the appropriate time by our financial advisor to offer any advice you may require regarding mortgages etc.
- Send our final account to your solicitors for settlement upon completion.
